Damin Village, located in the Kurung Kumey District of Arunachal Pradesh, India, serves as an Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) headquarters and borders the Indo-Tibetan region. Situated at an altitude of 3900 feet, the village is nestled amidst high mountains and lies on the left bank of the Kumey River, a significant tributary of the Subansiri. The climate is characterized by rainy, cool summers and very cold winters, with potential snowfall. Damin is approximately 267 kilometers from the state capital, Itanagar, and 35 kilometers from the district headquarters in Koloriang.
